That is a breakfast-and-lunch clock. It is earlier than a lot of High Street coffee chains and earlier than the Wetherspoon further along. If you finish work at half three, these listings say the door is already closing.
Licence versus lunch
Tonbridge and Malling’s licensing tracker recorded a 2026 grant at Jels Café, 74 High Street, for on-sales 12:00–23:00 every day (later on New Year’s Eve). A premises licence is not the same as a cafe sitting until 11pm. Until the cafe posts later kitchen hours, treat 15:00 as the useful close. Phone 01732 360970 if you are coming after lunch.
